What we aim for

This site is built and tested against WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the benchmark generally referenced for websites under the Americans with Disabilities Act. In practice that means text carries enough contrast to be read, every image has a text description, every form field is properly labelled, the whole site can be operated by keyboard alone, and nothing moves on the screen that you cannot stop.

What we have done

• A “skip to main content” link, so a keyboard or screen-reader user does not have to walk through the menu on every page.
• A pause control on the video behind the homepage, and no motion at all for visitors whose device asks for reduced motion.
• A visible focus outline on every link, button and field, so you can always see where you are.
• Text contrast checked by measurement rather than by eye, across every page.
• Automated testing run against every public page, alongside manual keyboard and screen-reader review.

Where we know there are limits

Property search results come from our MLS provider’s system rather than from this site, and we do not control that markup. We have raised accessibility with them. If you have trouble searching listings, please contact us and we will run the search for you and send you the results in whatever format works — email, large print, or over the phone. You will not be left without the information.
